ANGIE BYUN

Angie Byun is the CEO & Founder of AB WORLD, a global business development and marketing consultancy that helps media, fashion, entertainment, luxury and F&B brands grow and succeed in internationally and in APAC. She has over 20+ years of experience in international sales, marketing and business development, with a proven track record of generating multimillion-dollar partnerships and launching new ventures in emerging markets.

Prior to starting AB WORLD, Angie held various executive roles at Condé Nast, where she was responsible for international revenue streams and business ventures for several leading titles, such as VOGUE, GQ, Golf Digest, Wired, and The New Yorker. She also amplified brands on all Condé Nast platforms, with a focus on multicultural, diverse talent and new business development in APAC. She was instrumental in launching the first fashion titles for Condé Nast in the Middle East and Indonesia. Angie is also an adjunct professor at Fordham Law School, where she teaches licensing law, a course that covers the law and business of IP licensing.

Angie is passionate about bridging cultures and connecting people through impactful storytelling and innovation. She was the recipient of the 2011 Corporate Person of the Year award from Condé Nast and the 2019 Spirit of Asian America award from the Asian American Federation. She is a graduate of U.C. Berkeley, and the University of Wisconsin-Madison Law School and was a visiting student at Oxford University.

Following his graduation from university, Yuzuru embarked on his career journey with a renowned advertising agency in Japan, where he collaborated closely with prominent entertainment clients and well-established brands. In 2012, he took the bold step of launching his own company, pioneering innovative strategies for promoting client brands effectively on YouTube. 

In 2013, Yuzuru established SHINKA, Inc., a dynamic marketing firm headquartered in Tokyo and distinguished by its modern approach to digital marketing, social media, PR, and event management. His visionary leadership has propelled the company to remarkable success.  In addition, Yuzuru serves as a dedicated committee member for Ultra Japan, one of the world's largest music festivals, contributing to its continued growth and acclaim. He also holds the esteemed position of Board Member at Girls Award in Japan, an annual fashion and entertainment concert in Tokyo — further underscoring his significant influence and involvement in the industry.


Hitomi Tokue

Her unique upbringing in the United States, Germany, and Japan equips her with a distinctive ability to bridge cultural divides, making her an invaluable asset for international social media, digital, experiential, and influencer campaigns.

Hitomi serves as an authoritative voice in millennial and Gen Z marketing, offering expert guidance and insights. Presently, Teppei is based in Tokyo, where he operates his own consulting enterprise, specializing in the management and expansion of international Japanese entertainment IP.  Additionally, he assumes the role of Chief Operating Officer for a Los Angeles-based entertainment company representing one of Japan's foremost and iconic artists.

Enbo Wang

China Advisor

With an international & diverse career of 20+ years, Enbo is a versatile entrepreneur and investor committed to enabling changes through data-driven sustainability, impactful brand development & purpose-led tech innovations at Principes Partners. In 2023, he founded KEIRON, a climate fintech company providing ESG & carbon data intelligence, and co-founded China Initiative for Decarbonization (CID) that mobilized now 60+ leading Chinese private equity firms. Over the last 10 years, Enbo held a series of progressive China & APAC leadership roles, and most recently served China Managing Partner at ERM. He has built strong management consulting practices at Accenture, Kantar and goetzpartners, and advised leading corporate & investor clients on critical business issues in M&A, Growth & Sustainability. He also led successful Digital Business Transformation & Strategic Investments at Condé Nast. Enbo is a globalized Chinese national, and speaks English, French & Mandarin Chinese with exposure across 5 continents. He graduated from Sciences Po, Princeton University, Université Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne Law School, and held research positions at Columbia Business School, INSEAD.

Liz is the Owner and CEO of Digital Citizen, an interactive production shop that specializes in the creation of engaging, cross-platform experiences that connect consumers to brands in meaningful, innovative ways. The Digital Citizen partnership team brings 30+ years of combined expertise in Creative Technology, Ad Innovation and Product Marketing, Cross-platform Marketing Solutions, and Project Management to the table for their brand partners. As CEO, Liz is responsible for Sales, Marketing and Client Services.

Liz has worked in the publishing/media industry for close to 20 years. Prior to founding Digital Citizen, she spent a decade at Condé Nast where she ran the in-house digital agency responsible for producing multimedia solutions for advertisers and internal partners across the Condé Nast network, including Vogue, Wired, The New Yorker, GQ, & Vanity Fair. This Studio team was honored as Condé Nast “Innovators of the Year” in 2010, and named “Digital Team of the Year” by MIN Online in both 2011 and 2015.

In 2016 Liz was recognized by Folio as an Industry Mentor.


Peter Wise

Design Director

Peter Wise is a seasoned Creative Director and Designer with a career spanning over 15 years, marked by a diverse portfolio and a commitment to visual storytelling. With stints at esteemed companies like Condé Nast and Hearst, Peter has honed his expertise in brand strategy, creative direction, and design. His client roster includes a wide array of globally recognized brands, attesting to his ability to translate complex ideas into compelling visual narratives. Peter continues to push creative boundaries, offering an approach that seamlessly marries form and function.


Tina Chai

Fashion & Talent Stylist

Tina Chai is a New York–based fashion stylist and consultant. After graduating from Columbia University, she worked at VOGUE for Contributing Editor Camilla Nickerson and Creative Director Grace Coddington. She then went to Harper’s Bazaar as Fashion Editor. Tina has freelanced for various publications including international editions of VOGUE, W, Harper’s Bazaar, i-D magazine, and In Style. She has consulted and worked for a range of fashion brands including Banana Republic, Cartier, Chanel, Diane von Furstenberg, Donna Karan, Jason Wu, Lane Bryant, Loft, Pologeorgis, Theory, Tommy Hilfiger, Tory Burch and Vince as well as beauty brands Clinique, Elizabeth Arden, L’Oreal, Moroccan Oil, Revlon, Sally Hansen and Shiseido. Tina has designed collaborations for Japanese companies Baycrew’s, PAL and John Bull. She has also worked with a wide range of talent including Jessica Alba, Camila Cabello, Sofia Coppola, Anne Hathaway, Winona Ryder, Rachel Weisz, and Monsta X.


Edward Barsamian

Chief Content Advisor

Edward Barsamian brings over a decade of experience in the editorial, fashion, and media industries. Edward began his career at VOGUE as an assistant to Anna Wintour and has since held senior positions at The New York Times, Victoria Beckham, and VOGUE. Edward marries his editorial experiences with his business learnings to optimize a brand’s potential through organic brand extensions and a community-based approach to digital media. Analyzing social, sales, and consumer data from various platforms, the strategies have yielded sell-out of product (Victoria Beckham), record-making web traffic (VOGUE.com; 1.5M UMV avg), and increased customer conversion (Olivia Palermo). 



Edward studied at the University of St. Andrews, Scotland and graduated from The New School University, New York with a B.A. in International Relations and Art History.
